Hi-Force Limited was appointed to assist a client with the torqueing and tensioning works during the construction and commissioning phase of a new ammonia production plant in Slovakia, through authorised Slovakian distributor, Narimex. 

Following several discussions with the client and site visits to the facility location, the Bolting team at Hi-Force developed a thorough work scope for the project detailing the bolting procedures involved and the timelines, and also introduced the flange management system which would control the work scope progress as well as allow the client track the progress of the bolting works at the facility.

In addition to purchasing several bolting equipment including hydraulic low-profile hexagon torque wrenches, manual torque wrenches, backup wrenches, impact sockets, topside bolt tensioners in varying sizes and a range of accessory items, the client also requested Hi-Force for assistance with the bolting works through supply of experienced technical engineers. The Hi-Force team remained on site throughout the entire process from construction and startup of the production facility right up to the commissioning phase.

An excellent working relationship was established between Hi-Force and the client during the long period of work, which led to additional hire and sales of custom designed tensioning tools that continued to remain on site for plant maintenance operations. Training was also provided to the client’s personnel that were intended to complete the bolting and maintenance works in the future.
